Story of SKISAC Continued....

Around 6 months ago I decided to see if I could fill a gap in my personal life...
SKISAC was born. We had been doing research on “breathable” “gear” “bags,” and no matter how many googles we did... nothing. It was time to meet with a designer. One of my good friends had recently started a recycled clothing line, so met with him and he referred me to the Denver Design Incubator, who helped me create the design for a recycled, gear bag, that protects sensitive items.... and gets you to and from the mountain, everything dry and intact. That was May of 2017... here is what happened since:
July 2017: first prototype created. We realized we could use recycled climbing rope for the shoulder straps and recycled billboard vinyl to re-enforce the bottom of the bag.
August 2017: Formed SKISAC, LLC
LATE August 2o17: SO there I was... sitting at a brewery in Livingston, MT. Tacked up on the wall of the brewery was a sign that read, “Free Grain Sacks.” I moseyed on up to the bartender and asked how many I could have? The Montana cutie gave me 30 grain sacks, no questions asked...
September 2017: And our 2nd prototype is born:
October 2017: We put 100% focus on developing the SKISAC by reaching out to friends and family for advice on everything from product to branding to promotions.... we were propelled forward with interest and feeback.
November 2017: Crazy Mountain Brewery agrees to supply the grain sacks and cross-promote with SKISAC!
LATE November 2017: SKISAC increases following by 400% in 1 month, and releases Prototype 3:
December 2017:
December 14, 2017: Here we are, with 1,000 followers, and what we believe is a product that can not only help the fortunate ones that like to get outside, but give back to our environment. We are continuing to innovate and believe we can be 100% recycled within the next couple years. Our plan is to use recycled ocean plastic and fishing nets to create gear bags, similar to the ones you see above. Therefore, deleting footprints.
In the meantime, you gotta admit, they’re pretty sweet.
